Extra Curriculum
Students are encouraged to experience a number of challenges and opportunities for personal growth.
Production: The College Production is held each year in term 3. Students fulfil roles in performance, band, set design or backstage.
Public Speaking: Students may select to do public speaking with a private provider during school hours. A number of performances of student work are held during the year.
Instrumental Music: Students may undertake lessons in a range of instruments or voice. There is an additional cost per semester for lessons.
Subject Competitions: McGuire students regularly compete in science, mathematics, English and computer science competitions.
Camps/Tours: Year level camps allow students to experience new environments and foster new friendships and skills. The College offers a tour to Italy for students of Italian every two years.
